Provider Responsibilities & Requirements
AASECT CE Providers must:
Include an AASECT Certified Member
An AASECT Certified Member must serve on the planning committee for all events and assume responsibility for the event guidelines and expectations.
Represent AASECT Standards Accurately
Providers must properly represent all AASECT ethics, guidelines, procedures, and standards. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine if their state licensing board will accept AASECT CE credits.
Maintain Documentation for 7 Years
Providers must keep program materials including objectives, syllabi/outlines, evaluations, and participant rosters, for 7 years, consistent with the AASECT Code of Conduct and certification requirements. AASECT may conduct periodic reviews of CE Providers’ documents, as part of the process of evaluating training.
Comply with AASECT Policies
- Follow the CE Provider Expectations.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in marketing and delivery.
- Review the AASECT Grievance Policy. Understand that AASECT does not assume financial or legal responsibility for provider programs.
It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine whether their state licensing board accepts AASECT CE credits.
Promote Your CE Event
Approved providers may submit their programs for listing on the AASECT CE Calendar. CE Calendar Submission Form
