Continuing Education Overview

AASECT Continuing Education supports the highest standards of professional practice for sexuality educators, counselors, and therapists. CE credits may be applied toward earning or maintaining AASECT Certification.

Attendees are responsible for determining whether their state licensing or any other certifying boards accept AASECT CE credits.

How to Offer AASECT CE Credits

There are two ways to have your event approved for AASECT CE:

1. Become an AASECT CE Provider

Ideal for organizations or educators who plan to offer multiple events. Approved Providers are authorized to issue AASECT CE credits on an ongoing basis.

Best for one-time workshops, trainings, or SARs.

Important Requirement

All AASECT-approved CE events must include at least one AASECT Certified Member on the event planning committee.
