Requirements for Single Event Approval
AASECT Certified Member on Planning Committee
An AASECT Certified Member must be part of the event planning committee and must be listed on the application. This individual is responsible for ensuring adherence to AASECT guidelines and expectations.
Accurate Representation of AASECT Standards
Providers must properly represent all AASECT ethics, guidelines, procedures, and standards in event content, promotion, and delivery.
Documentation Retention for 7 Years
Providers must maintain event documentation, including objectives, syllabi/outlines, evaluations, and participant rosters, for 7 years. This supports certification, audit needs, and aligns with AASECT’s Code of Conduct.
Wording for State Licensing Boards
Attendees are responsible for determining whether their state licensing board accepts AASECT CE credits.
